In May of 1989, a group of entrepreneurs started operations PROMOTORA
MERHEN S.A. de C.V. in a rented warehouse with a couple of
molding machines for expandable polystyrene. One year later, operations
where transferred to an owned building of 2000 meters squared on a surface of 1.5
acres. Initially, the company's main operation was strictly the manufacturing of
materials and products for the packaging industry. As time went by,
new opportunities opened and the company also offered services such as inspection,
rework and sub assemble.

- In Reynosa,
Tamaulipas, Mexico, with 30,000 sq. ft. of floor space, located five
miles from the Pharr International Bridge.
- In McAllen,
Texas, with 4,000 sq. ft. of floor space and offices.
We have established a manufacturing Twin plant operation, under the Temporary Import Programs to
Produce Products for Exportation (" Maquiladora Program").
Merhen has experience in a broad range of manufacturing processes,
including electronics, plastics, textiles, automotive and general assemblies
as well as disassemblies. In addition, we have an extensive experience
in Maquiladora management and NAFTA treatment product analysis, having

1994, the North America Free Trade Agreement ( NAFTA ) was put into
effect. This agreement is designed to gradually reduce duties of products
produced in Mexico, Canada and the United States, until they are completely
eliminated. NAFTA will allow an unlimited amount of possibilities for
